Blackwood Nakatado

After this beautiful wood is carefully charred, Nakatado is brushed and post-treated. This reveals the lively grain structure, with a height difference of about 1-2 mm between the high and low parts. The flame pattern gives a calm and contemporary appearance in the room. Nakatado is resistant to all weather conditions and does not stain.

Every 5 years, Nakatado is best re-treated with Bito Black for colour retention and extra protection.
