Padouk

West-African Padouk is easily recognisable by its coral-red colour, which changes to a soft silver-grey after some sun exposure. This tropical hardwood with a fine grain is very stable and barely deforms after installation, which certainly earns it its durability class I.

Its durability, together with its still perfect condition up to 25 years after installation, makes Padouk the ideal choice for an exclusive-looking wooden façade. Despite its density of 750 kg/m3, this maintenance-free wood species is easy to process, both by machine and by hand.
